High-End Firm looking to build new team quickly due to rapid expansion.
Job Description:
• Participate in tax structuring and other planning for all elements of the enterprises, including new businesses, mergers and acquisitions, investments, trusts, individuals, estates and foundations
• Management of tax compliance services for all of the partnerships, limited liability companies, corporations, individuals and foundations in the enterprises
• Work with, coordinate and manage outside tax service providers
• Manage responses to notices from taxing authorities
• Assist with any federal, state and local tax return examinations
• Support all company personnel in providing tax compliance and planning services
• Prepare and deliver tax education and training to all company personnel
• Identify, develop and oversee the execution of improvements to internal processes.
• Mentor, train and manage staff accountants to meet deadlines and prioritize projects/workload
Requirements
Qualifications
• 6-10 years of public accounting experience in tax
• Strong tax technical skills with an emphasis in partnership taxation
• Strong research skills
• CPA and/or JD strongly preferred
