Where We Need You:
The Chicago office is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our growing team.
What You Can Expect:
The Manager coaches Interns, Consultants, Senior Consultants and facilitates the successful completion of project work plans. Serving as both role model and trainer, the Manager demonstrates the attributes of excellent client service and assists team members in developing technical and professional competency. The Manager learns to identify areas of risk and opportunities to improve efficiency. Relationships with client personnel and professional associates strengthen as the ability to communicate, gain trust and network improves. The Manager should be able to manage multiple parallel work streams and report on project activities efficiently. At the direction of leadership, the Manager may accept responsibility for decision-making, ranging from staffing and preparation of deliverables to application of methodologies.

Do Your Talents Include the Following?
Working experience in planning the work and leading teams that adopt modern software engineering practices like Agile, Scaled Agile, DevOps and Lean
Working experience in mobilizing and leading teams that come from various disciplines, functional groups and even companies
Working experience in collaborating with multiple service providers and technology vendors that support a program or project
Working experience in transforming delivery management methodologies to be Agile, Scaled Agile and/or Lean
Working experience in leading multi-site teams that operate in varying time-zones
Working experience in service and project management tools like Kanban, Jira, ServiceNow MS Project and others
Working experience in facilitating root cause analysis and other performance improvement activities
Advanced knowledge on value realization, metrics management and other mechanisms to measure and forecast product and project success and to proactive act on gaps and variances
Basic knowledge on modern architectures like micro-services architecture, cloud computing, containerization, among others
Preferably with prior experience as software developer or support engineer
Preferably with experience in delivering software solutions for Banking, Capital Market or Insurance companies
Your Educational and Professional Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline ( e.g. MIS, CIS) required
5+ years in a related field required; preferably in professional services and/or industry
Certifications including but not limited to disciplines such as architecture (e.g., TOGAF), application life cycle management (e.g., PMP, Agile Scrum/Product Owner, SAFe , evOps), and service management (e.g., ITIL) are strongly preferred
Technology specific certifications are a plus
