  • Accounting, Reporting and Administration:

  • Responsible for overseeing the quarterly reporting preparation process for all administered entities, ensuring that all reporting deadlines are met. Includes supervising Fund Accounting Managers and staff to ensure high-quality and on-time completion of quarterly and annual reporting. Proactively addressing any completion timing issues and communicating delays with clients and customers.

  • Maintain an understanding of the operational structure, operating agreements, and underwriting models for entities under management to anticipate activity, monitor results and ensure proper accounting treatment. Become the subject matter expert for accounting and reporting matters related to fund structuring, transactions, and related financial activity.

  • Ensure accounting and reporting requirements, standards, and issues are addressed in conjunction with the creation of new funds and lending initiatives through early involvement in the process, regular meetings and communication with the team.

  • Advise clients on reporting and accounting implications of new funds and/or fund amendments

  • Coordinate with Fund Management and Partner Services to ensure proper onboarding of all new funds and clients, including gathering fund ownership, reporting and servicing details

  • Work closely with Loan Servicing and Treasury teams to ensure payment processing and cash transfer procedures and internal controls are clearly defined and consistently adhered to, assisting in the process as necessary through review and approval.

  • Serve as owner of fund administration contract relationships, ensuring the fund administration team is informed and able to deliver on contract scope. Act as an escalation point for clients, effectively communicating, and managing client expectations

  • Work with business development and management teams on specific contract scopes, marketing pitches and other client presentations

  • Leverage existing client relationships to identify and secure new business when possible

  • Monitor staffing levels, team workload and the operational design of the team, making optimization suggestions as needed; Discuss staffing needs with SVP of Fund Administration, create job descriptions and upon approval of new positions, lead the hiring process

  • Keep technology solutions and/or improvements top-of-mind when addressing process efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness issues. Actively take ownership of research, testing, and procurement of technology solutions to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of Fund Administration processes.



  • Minimum of seven years of fund administration and/or accounting experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent; CPA designation preferred, but not required; will consider a combination of education and experience for the right candidate

  • Proven successful management/supervisory skills

  • Significant experience working with fund accounting, internal controls, external auditors and compliance-related issues

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and the entire suite of Microsoft Office applications
