Description

Robert Half is recruiting for a strong Controller /Consultant for a private equity owned HVAC services company in the Inland Empire.

The Controller will act on behalf of the client and work alongside the Systems Implementer (SI) to ensure the project stays on target (Budget and Timeline). This includes providing requested information to the Systems Implementer, documenting current and future business processes as required, assist with mapping of the chart of accounts, and providing financial data to the SI.

Requirements:

Must have strong interpersonal skills to interact in a team environment and foster client relationships, excellent verbal and written communication skills including documentation of key transactional processes. Must be able to handle highly confidential information in a strictly manner. Large ERP experience preferred (Netsuite, JD Edwards, Microsoft AX, SAP).

Skills:

  • ERP Implementation experience

  • Netsuite experience

  • Vista by Viewpoint - nice to have

-Ability to communicate with all levels of management in a cross functional team environment

Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Controller role or similar positions.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential.

• Experience with NetSuite software is required.

• Strong knowledge and experience in Financial Reporting is a must.

• Demonstrated ability to handle Trial Balance is necessary.

• Experience in Software Implementations is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with Viewpoint Vista software is a plus.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; a master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.

• Must have a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is required.

• Must have the ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

• Strong leadership skills and experience in managing a team are necessary.

• Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations is required.

• Must have strong organizational and planning skills.
