Description
Robert Half is hiring Accounting Assistants to support local organizations! As an Accounting Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance department in various accounting and administrative tasks. You will work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, maintain organized records, and assist with other day-to-day activities as needed.
Responsibilities:
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Process invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders
Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end close procedures
Maintain accurate and organized financial records
Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Prior experience in accounting or finance preferred, but not required
