Robert Half Project Coordinator in Chula Vista, California

Description

Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Coordinator to support their project management team. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, execution, and closing of projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

  • Coordinate project activities, resources, equipment, and information.

  • Act as a point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.

  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.

  • Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise.

  • Schedule and organize meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.

  • Track and report on project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.

  • Use project management tools to monitor working hours, budget, plans, and expenditures.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of project management methodologies and best practices.

    Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in project coordination or a similar role.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project management software.

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.

  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and demands.

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.

  • PMP or CAPM certification is a plus.
