Robert Half is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager for an exciting full-time opportunity with our Full-Time Engagement Professional practice group. Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee daily operations of the accounting department including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, cost accounting, and revenue recognition.

  • Prepare and present financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.

  • Coordinate and complete annual audits.

  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.

  • Develop periodical budgets and financial forecasts.

  • Ensure the organization's financial security by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.

  • Coordinate with tax professionals to ensure compliance.

  • Recruiting, mentoring, and developing accounting staff.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting/Finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

  • Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Accounting software.

  • Excellent organization, leadership and decision-making skills.

  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
