Robert Half International Accounts Receivable Clerk in Cincinnati, Ohio
Accountemps is seeking an Accounts Receivable (A/R) Clerk. Candidates who are looking for great career growth potential and a great benefits package will be interested in joining this quickly growing accounting team. On an average day, the Accounts Receivable Clerk will enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging report, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, update, and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L. If you are a self-starter with high attention to detail, you are likely to be successful at handling 200+ invoices a week at this Accounts Receivable Clerk position.
Execute a range of foundational accounting tasks in agreement with normal procedures, including general accounting tasks
Corroborate documents and codes
Provide information, as requested to shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stakeholders
Square bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in diverse ledgers
Help resolve payment issues by contacting clients, assist in setting up payment plans
Identify delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. skip-tracing, written correspondence, phone contact, and making arrangements for payment
Be an ambassador of the mission, values, and culture of the organization
Process payments and compile segments of annual reports and monthly closings in compliance with GAA
Requirements - Demonstrated analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy
Skilled with ERP systems
Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
Remittance experience required
Strong familiarity with Process Refunds
Cash applications experience desired
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field desired
2+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable
