Description We are seeking a Bookkeeper with great interpersonal skills and a background in accounting to join our team. A long-term contract / temporary to hire position, this Bookkeeper role would be located in the Cincinnati, Ohio region. Your responsibilities
Look after archived records by categorizing documents
Settle accounts by reconciling entries
Review payments received and record deposits
Manage a well-organized system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures
Oversee accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
Conduct and manage the general ledger
Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information Requirements - Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
Previous experience using accounting software
BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)
Foundational knowledge in Form 1099
General ledger experience highly desired
Proficiency in Credit Card Reconciliation
Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)
