Robert Half Credentialing Specialist in Cincinnati, Ohio

Description

We are offering a part-time, contract to hire employment opportunity for a Credentialing Specialist. This role may be able to work a hybrid part-time schedule and primarily involves administrative assistance and credentialing and supporting compliance. You will be responsible for credentialing processes, documentation, and maintaining records in the MS Office management system.

Responsibilities:

• Processing and maintaining accurate credentialing records for healthcare providers

• Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards

• Managing documentation and record-keeping tasks with precision

• Utilizing MS Office to maintain and update credentialing processes and records

• Providing administrative assistance to enhance efficiency in the credentialing department

• Liaising with healthcare providers to collect necessary documentation and information

• Resolving inquiries related to credentialing processes and requirements

• Monitoring the status of applications and renewals, ensuring timely completion

• Collaborating with other team members to improve the efficiency of credentialing processes

• Keeping up-to-date with changes in industry regulations and standards related to credentialing.

Requirements • Possess at least two years of experience as a Credentialing Specialist or in a similar role

• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of credentialing and credentialing processes

• Proficiency in using MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Experience in the healthcare industry, specifically with healthcare providers, is desired

• Strong administrative skills with prior administrative experience

• Proven ability to manage and maintain documentation with a keen attention to detail

• Familiarity with compliance requirements and standards in the healthcare industry

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of providers and staff

• Ability to provide administrative assistance as needed, including but not limited to, data entry, filing, and correspondence.
