Robert Half Payroll Supervisor/Manager/Director in Cincinnati, Ohio

Description

The Payroll Administrator will oversee and supervise the payroll functions of the organization, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, while meeting regulatory standards and expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Accuracy in processing payroll transactions, including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.

• Oversee the administration of the payroll system, ensuring smooth operation and maintenance of accurate records.

• Efficiently manage every pay period's company payroll, ensuring minimal errors in transactions.

• Provide clear responses to staff inquiries about wages, deductions, attendance, and time records.

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in time, attendance, and payroll records.

• Ensure prompt processing of payroll updates, including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.

• Comply with federal and state regulations for wages and tax withholdings, process related payments, and report to government agencies.

• Facilitate audits by coordinating with external auditors and providing necessary records and documentation.

• Recommend updates to payroll accounting software, systems, and procedures to improve efficiency.

• Manage compliance programs relating to state and federal regulations.

• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the role.

Requirements • Proficiency in Paycom is a must for the role of Payroll Supervisor/Manager/Director.

• The candidate should have strong skills in Microsoft Excel.

• In-depth understanding and experience with HRIS Payroll System is required.

• The prospective employee needs to have experience in HRIS Implementation.

• Familiarity with Multi-state Payroll is a necessary requirement.

• The candidate should have experience in managing bi-Monthly Payroll.

• Experience in Full Cycle Payroll is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of Local Payroll Tax is essential for this role.

• The candidate should have experience in handling Payroll - Garnishments.

• The prospective employee should have experience in managing Payroll for 101 - 500 Employees.
