Robert Half Senior Accountant in Cincinnati, Ohio

Description

We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Senior Accountant in Cincinnati, Ohio. As part of our team, your role will primarily focus on ensuring compliance with various regulations, maintaining accurate financial ledgers, and working closely with other members of the team to safeguard company assets. The position is within the industry and will require you to perform a variety of tasks that require specific skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the accounts payable process, including accurate coding and occasional physical printing and distribution of checks

• Upload payments and post monthly journal entries using accounting software

• Process bi-weekly payroll and manage employee retirement benefits

• Prepare monthly billings for rent subsidy cost reimbursement grants

• Assist with the monthly close process, including monthly adjusting journal entries and account reconciliations

• Assist in managing and processing semiannual real estate tax payments

• Handle financial transactions related to retail accounts purchases, including reconciliation and documentation

• Manage on-site deposits, including counting cash and checks, and preparing bank deposits

• Coordinate with contractors renting garage space, sending payment requests and ensuring timely payments

• Assist in managing credit card transactions, reconciling statements, and ensuring compliance with company policies

• Maintain accurate records of various payments including laundry, utility bills, and miscellaneous expenses

• Execute payments to contractors for management of service

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) operations

• Familiarity with Dynamics software

• Ability to process bi-weekly payroll

• Expertise in preparing and reviewing journal entries

• Experience with month-end close procedures

• Knowledge of real estate tax processes

• Proven track record in process implementation

• Demonstrated ability in process documentation
