Description
Robert Half is looking for a staff accountant for a growing Cincinnati based company. This staff accountant have good organization and communication skills and an understanding of the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable functions in a dynamic, cross-trained accounting department. Responsibilities
Accounts Payable invoice data entry and statement reconciliation
Accounts Receivable Business to Business collections
Customer Invoicing
Sales tax processing and remittance
Order Entry
General Ledger reconciliation work
Requirements
BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics
Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
Recent and relevant accounting experience
Ability to meet deadlines
Fully formed organizational, written and verbal communication skills
Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
Expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR)
Journal entries experience preferred
Bank reconciliations experience
