Description

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Blue Ash, Ohio. The role involves managing financial reporting, payroll tasks, labor allocation, bank reconciliations, and dealing with unclaimed funds among other responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Handle financial reporting tasks

• Manage payroll tasks including leave of absence work.

• Process labor allocation from Paycor , credit spreadsheet and reallocate back to create Journal Entries.

• Conduct bank reconciliations for multiple accounts, both large and small.

• Take charge of unclaimed funds processes.

• Pull invoices, cleared checks from 3rd party system to submit to mortgage.

• Utilize skills such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, Journal Entries, and Month End Close.

• Maintain financial records and ensure data accuracy.

• Resolve customer inquiries and process customer applications efficiently.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

Requirements

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field with 2 years experience

• Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Proven experience with Bank Reconciliations.

• Ability to prepare and maintain Journal Entries.

• Demonstrated expertise in handling Month End Close activities.

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
