Description

Our client is looking for a Systems Administrator to join our team in the construction industry based in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role involves managing and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware and software systems, and implementing security measures to protect systems from cyber threats.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent technical services to internal customers

• Implement and support infrastructure services, including wide area networks, storage area networks, and application servers

• Gauge the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems; develop and implement strategies for improving or leveraging these systems

• Collaborate with other IT professionals to design and implement IT solutions

• Design and perform server and security audits, system backup procedures, and other recovery processes in line with the company’s disaster recovery and business continuity strategies

• Integrate servers, including database, e-mail, print, and backup servers and their associated software into enterprise systems

• Manage and maintain servers, networks, and other IT infrastructure components

• Create and maintain documentation related to system configuration, mapping, processes, and service records

• Perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions

• Ensure compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systems

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software systems as needed

• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and enhancements

• Monitor system performance and ensure availability and reliability

• Provide technical support and assistance to end-users as needed.

• Knowledge and experience in Linux Technologies preferred

• Proficiency in Active Directory is required

• Experience with Backup Technologies is essential

• Should have knowledge and experience in Configuration Management

• Proficiency in Deployments is necessary

• Experience with Server Virtualization is required

• Must have knowledge and experience in Microsoft 365 Enterprise

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

• Must be legally authorized to work in the specified location.
