Description
Robert Half is looking for a tax manager for a growing Cincinnati based company. This tax manager is responsible for ensuring the integrity of accounting information by helping to compile, maintain, record, verify, consolidate, enter, reconcile and maintain all accounting transactions while providing management with financial information by researching and analyzing tax accounts, helping in preparing financial statements. Key responsibilities
Help with planning and compliance regarding tax matters, such as waivers and tax returns
Help review all financial statements for quality control
Put together and review complex income tax returns
Produce and review tax correspondence and facilitation and oversight of tax audits
Help with the preparation of quarterly tax projections and communication of required estimated tax payments
Provide accounting managers and staff accountants with tax best business practices
Aid in the compliance of financial and tax reporting policies and procedures
Inspect and provide oversight for quarterly and annual payroll tax returns
Ensure accurate calculation of W-2s and 1099s and assist in distribution
Requirements
5-7 years' experience in public tax accounting
2+ years of supervisory experience
Bachelors or masters degree in Accounting or relevant field required
CPA required
