Robert Half Medical Administrator in Citrus Heights, California

Description We are in search of a Medical Administrator to join our team located in Citrus Heights, California. The role is focused on overseeing operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing exceptional support within the Assisted Living industry. This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, where your expertise in the field will be instrumental in upholding our standards and enhancing the overall well-being and satisfaction of residents.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations within the Assisted Living facility, ensuring seamless operations.

• Ensure regulatory compliance by having a strong understanding of Title 22 regulations and other applicable regulatory requirements.

• Foster a sense of community within the facility through meaningful interactions with residents and families.

• Process and monitor customer credit applications and maintain accurate customer credit records.

• Oversee staff members, promptly addressing any concerns and managing staff effectively.

• Utilize knowledge in marketing strategies specific to the senior care industry for community engagement and outreach.

• Build positive relationships with residents and their families to provide exceptional care and service.

• Uphold our core values of integrity, safety, and quality care, creating a professional and caring environment.

• Utilize Assisted Living Residences skills to enhance the overall resident experience.

• Handle billing functions diligently and accurately to ensure financial health. Requirements • Proficiency in billing functions within a medical setting

• Experience in an assisted living community, residence, or similar environment

• Familiarity with applicable regulatory requirements within a healthcare setting

• Demonstrable skills in ensuring regulatory compliance in a medical environment

• Strong organizational and administrative skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in using computer software and electronic health records

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Experience in handling confidential patient information responsibly and ethically

• Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and training as required.
