Responsibilities:

• Utilize problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues

• Identify legitimate, accurate resources with direct knowledge of the technical issue to provide appropriate solutions

• Exhibit a strong technical understanding of computer related hardware, operating systems, computer hardware components, attached peripherals, and network connectivity issues

• Provide technical support for Operating systems such as Windows 10, Mac OS and iOS and Android, and software applications such as but not limited to MS Office and Adobe software

• Take initial technical support calls or emails from staff members and follow through the technical support process to correctly troubleshoot and correct computer hardware, software or network problems

• Provide support in a timely manner and escalate issues when necessary after exhausting problem-solving pathways

• Provide support to onsite and remote users

• Install and test computer systems, desktop applications, printers and attached peripherals

• Diagnose and resolve computer hardware and software incidents/IT Tickets by providing support in person or remotely for users at local and remote sites

• Assist in the deployment of IT equipment and update inventory documentation

• Install and configure printer software/firmware, assist in basic maintenance & repairs for network/local/label printers

• Monitor and verify the functionality of windows server, domain controller, file server & and software components installed on windows server

• Assist in Windows Active Directory administration & management which includes creating/modifying/deleting user/group profile, assigning file/folder permission, and creating/modifying user/group policy.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Desktop Support Analyst or in a similar role

• Proven expertise in EO/IR systems

• Excellent knowledge of Mac Computers

• Proficiency with Microsoft products including Office Suite and Operating Systems

• Experience with Active Directory including creating, deleting, and modifying user accounts

• Understanding of Computer Hardware including troubleshooting and repair

• Familiarity with Configuration Management processes and tools

• Experience in Deployments of software and hardware upgrades

• Proven ability in providing Deskside Support to end-users

• Strong problem-solving abilities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
