Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in City of Industry, California

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the city of Industry, California, for a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team in the service industry. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and analyzing financial data, creating financial models, and leading budgeting processes to support strategic plans.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the creation and development of financial models for new business development

• Analyze and prepare monthly operating and financial performance packages

• Develop monthly and quarterly forecast models, conducting variance analysis of actual to forecasted results

• Continually identify and report on key performance indicators

• Collaborate with the accounting team to understand and communicate operating results

• Lead the annual budgeting process and manage budget processes

• Develop complex financial models to identify profitable growth opportunities

• Execute data mining techniques to analyze large amounts of data and summarize into concise financial models

• Manage capital and ensure profit loss is in line with company objectives

• Perform other duties as required to support the execution of both long-term and short-term strategic plans. Requirements • Proficient understanding of business systems

• Experience in data mining techniques

• Familiarity with various accounting functions

• Expertise in auditing processes

• Proficiency in budget processes and capital management

• Ability to perform KPI reporting

• Deep understanding of various business models

• Experience in financial modelling and developing complex financial models

• Ability to develop financial models

• Proficiency in profit and loss analysis

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other financial software

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred

• Prior experience in a similar role.
