Robert Half International Accountant in CLEVELAND, Ohio
Robert Half is working with a Cleveland client looking to add an experienced accountant to their team. This position will primarily focus on the AR process within the accounting department along with assisting with accounting duties such as: month-end close, account reconciliations, and preparations of reports. Interested candidates will have knowledge and experience with all aspects of the AR process including collection calls and invoice inquiries, use of Epicor software is preferred. Invoicing & Parts Orders, Equipment, Freight Charges, Etc.
Collection calls, invoice issues/inquiries
Month End GL Entries
Assist with Month End Close
Commission Accruals, payments, prepaids
Maintain customer database
Prepare reports on Sales Tax, Workers Comp, Union dues, etc.
Assist with process and project improvements
Experience or knowledge of AP process
Bachelor’s Degree (preferred but not a must have)
At least 3-5 years of accounting experience
Epicor Software (not a must have)
MS Office – Excel (formulas and spreadsheets)
Strong Communication Skills
