Description Robert Half is actively looking for a Bookkeeper. This Bookkeeper role requires candidates to be proficient with A/P, A/R, General ledger, and financial reporting. If this sounds like you, you may be the candidate this position requires. The long-term contract / temporary Bookkeeper will work in the Cleveland, Ohio area.

Produce financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
Appease accounts by balancing entries
Oversee and manage general ledger
Care for accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
Organize a structured method to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures
Examine payments received and record deposits
Support quality archived records by filing documents Requirements - BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Bookkeeping experience desired
Adeptness in Accounts Receivable (AR)
Accounts Payable (AP) experience
Invoice Entry experience preferred
Sage MAS 90 experience
Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
Prior experience working with accounting software
