Description Job Title: Senior Accountant Company: Robert Half International Location: Cleveland About Us: At Robert Half, we are committed to excellence and innovation. We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our permanent Engagement detail oriented team. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in accounting, excellent attention to detail, and a strategic mindset. Responsibilities: Consolidating and analyzing financial statements and results Assisting in preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports Develop periodic reports for management. Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. Developing and documenting business processes to ensure accurate and consistent information. Ensuring all GAAP procedures are followed. Addressing and resolving financial discrepancies. Enhancing accounting systems and procedures as needed. Participating in financial standards setting and in forecast process. Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results. Requirements Proven experience as a financial controller, accounting supervisor, chief or senior accountant. Adequate understanding of finance, accounting principles, laws and best practices. Computer savvy with knowledge of relevant software (e.g., SAP, ERP, Microsoft Excel) Excellent organizational, leadership and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and confidentiality. BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant. Advanced degree or detail oriented certification (e.g. CPA, CMA) is a plus.
