Robert Half Systems Administrator in Cleveland, Ohio
Description We are looking for a Systems Administrator to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks such as managing device configurations, software deployments, and assisting with the maintenance of network infrastructure. This role will also require you to support firm security initiatives and serve as an escalation point for hardware issues and network system operation issues.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and test methodologies for software deployment and updates using PowerShell and other scripting languages
• Manage device configurations, user settings, and software deployments
• Assist with configuration and troubleshooting of server print queues and printers
• Support the maintenance and management of Zoom phone and video system
• Assist with the upkeep of network infrastructure including LAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, and data/voice Circuits
• Support the maintenance and installation of datacenter infrastructure including HP servers, HP Nimble Storage, and Cisco/Meraki networking devices and Fortinet firewalls
• Support firm security initiatives and serve as an escalation point for hardware issues and network system operation issues
• Assist in the distribution, setup, and configuration of end user workstations and laptops
• Create and maintain documentation relating to system configuration, process mapping, asset inventory, and service records Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Systems Administrator
• Proficiency in PowerShell Scripting is required
• Experience with Microsoft Intune is mandatory
• Must have a strong understanding of Microsoft Windows Server
• VMware skills are essential
• Must demonstrate abilities in Network Administration
• Applicants must have the ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues effectively
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required
• Team collaboration skills are essential for this role
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are needed
• A proactive approach to system maintenance and improvements is required
• Must be capable of working independently when necessary
• Familiarity with system security standards and procedures is beneficial
