Robert Half HR Generalist in Clinton, New Jersey


Our well-regarded client is seeking a Human Resource Generalist to join their team. This HR Generalist will be primarily responsible for completing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the HR department. Duties include comparing HR laws to current policies and procedures, drafting templates for HR documents and working with other members of the department to oversee the hiring and onboarding process for company employees. Key responsibilities

  • Create employee satisfaction surveys and give actionable insights to improve employees experience

  • Create a recruitment plan and calendar according to operation and sales projections

  • Produce official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary slips and warning letters

  • Design a system for storing physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits and attendance records

  • Manage disciplinary action against employees who violate rules and regulations and addresses employee grievances

  • Analyze employee performance and appraises their pay scale accordingly

  • Use HR software to manage payroll and employee benefits, including bonuses, leaves, and absences administration

  • Generate employee engagement plans, getting necessary budget approval and initiating activities

  • Create onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations

  • Collaborate with outside vendors, upper management, and employees to maintain CSR standards conscripted by authorities

    Requirements - PHR/SPHR or other relevant certifications a plus

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills

  • Comfortable developing and managing interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company

  • Exceptional time management skills preferred

  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills

  • 1+ years of human resources experience

  • Seasoned in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
