Description
We are seeking a Controller to join our team in Coachella, California, within the manufacturing industry. This role is tofocus on managing the accounting office located in the middle of the operations environment.
Responsibilities:
• Leading a software implementation process to improve efficiency
• Developing and implementing processes and procedures to streamline operations
• Managing a team of four direct and eleven indirect reports, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
• Leveraging extensive knowledge and experience in Manufacturing, Oracle, SAP, GAAP Accounting, and US GAAP
• Using a university degree in a relevant field to inform decision-making and strategy
• Ensuring all financial operations align with the laws and guidelines of the manufacturing industry
• Overseeing the accounting office located within the operations environment, ensuring a smooth workflow and efficient processes
• Collaborating with various teams to ensure financial objectives are met
• Supporting the Regional Controller in managing financial operations and making strategic decisions
Requirements • Must hold a university degree in a related field such as Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
• Demonstrated experience in a Controller role within the manufacturing industry is required.
• Proficiency in Oracle and SAP software systems is essential.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of GAAP Accounting and US GAAP is necessary.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills are necessary.
• Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
• Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• High ethical standards and professionalism in all business dealings.
