My client is a growth oriented insurance company that is looking to full-time an Accounting Manager to lead the company's accounting department. This role will report into the CFO and sit on a small team. Responsibilities include:
Overseeing all accounting activities, including month-end close, accounting operations, and financial reporting - FInancial statement preparation in accordance with GAAP - Statutory accounting and compliance requirements - Partnering with other departments to ensure organization success - Working and supporting external auditors and tax preparation
