Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity in Coconut Creek, Florida, for a Staff Accountant to join a division of a fortune 500 company. Your primary role will be to prepare house profit analyses, review employee expense reimbursements, process timely payment of property taxes, and assist in forecasting. You will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, requiring strong skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Month End Close, utilizing a large ERP system .
Responsibilities:
• General ledger maintenance, Adjusting journal entries, reconciliations, financial statement prep
• Perform month-end close activities, including reconciling bank statements and producing financial reports
• Use accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to manage financial data
• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
• Conduct regular reconciliation of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Requirements
• Must have at least 1 year of experience as a Staff Accountant or in a related role.
• Proficient in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Experience with Bank Reconciliations is required.
• Must have a strong understanding of General Ledger management.
• Experience in preparing and maintaining Journal Entries is necessary.
• Must be skilled in performing Month End Close procedures.
• Proficiency in using an accounting software/ ERP
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country where the job is located.
