Description
Important Job Functions
• Obtain proper approval for payment of invoices
• Prepare accounts payables checks as required.
• Obtain required documentation from vendors (W-9, ACH info) as needed and archive accordingly.
• Review vendor statements and resolve outstanding items.
• Maintain proper storage of payables items using imaging system.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients, vendors and co-workers.
Requirements
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable.
• Excellent organization skills and time management.
• Effective customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Dispute resolution skills and analytical thinking skills
• Strong understanding of accounting.
Other Skills/Abilities
• General Ledger Accounting experience a plus
• Strong understanding of how Accounts Payable systems work within the accounting software
• Customer relations with vendors and affiliated company managers.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Other duties as assigned.
