Robert Half Cash Applications Clerk in Collierville, Tennessee
Description We are inviting applications for the role of Cash Applications Clerk in our manufacturing team located in Collierville, Tennessee, United States. As a Cash Applications Clerk, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of managing customer payments and maintaining accurate customer accounts.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct daily posting of all ACH/WIRE/CHECKS to customer accounts.
• Undertake research to resolve any reconciliation issues.
• Ensure daily reconciliation of multiple bank deposits.
• Liaise with the Credit Department regarding any cash application concerns.
• Carry out monthly reconciliation with the Treasury Manager.
• Manage the filing of bank documents.
• Execute all approved write offs, offsets, and re-agings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain and update customer credit records promptly and accurately.
• Handle customer inquiries and issues regarding their credit applications. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role in the Manufacturing industry
• Proficiency in Cash Applications
• Demonstrable 10 Key Skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH)
• Understanding of Electronic Remittance and Remittance processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on information at hand
• Willingness to continuously learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or equivalent; higher education or certifications in related fields preferred.
