Robert Half HR Generalist in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Description

We are in search of an HR Generalist to join our team in the manufacturing industry located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This Temporary, pivotal role will involve various aspects of human resource management and will be integral in executing our HR strategy, assisting with recruitment, overseeing the onboarding process, resolving conflict issues, and maintaining a safe and compliant workplace.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and implement effective recruiting strategies.

• Screen resumes, conduct interviews and assist in making employment decisions.

• Conduct orientation for new hires to ensure a seamless transition into the company's culture and work environment.

• Manage documentation related to employment, benefits, and termination and ensure they are correctly prepared and submitted in a timely manner.

• Serve as a link between the management and employees to handle issues, questions, and grievances.

• Implement measures to create a positive and productive work environment and reduce instances of conflict.

• Manage performance appraisal system that drives high performance.

• Ensure the company is in compliance with regulations regarding worker safety and workplace conditions.

• Formulate and implement safety policies and procedures.

• Conduct regular safety training sessions and drills.

• Maintain personnel records, and manage HR documents (e.g., employment records, leaves, and insurance).

• Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves, compensation, etc. and resolve any issues that may arise.

• Prepare and provide HR reports for management as needed, such as staff turnover, recruitment, training, grievances, disciplinary actions, etc.

Requirements • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode and Ceridian

• Experience with HRMS and About Time software

• Skilled in Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration

• Strong knowledge of Compliance and Employee Relations

• Proven experience in Corporate Recruiting

• Proficiency in Onboarding and Benefits Administration

• Expertise in Human Resources (HR) Administration

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field

• Professional certification in HR (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus
