Description

Robert Half is looking for a HR Administrator for a growing company in Columbia, MD.

This position will start out 100% remote, but will eventually move into hybrid schedule in fall/winter 2021 working 2 days in the office.

Summary:

The HR Administrator will solely be responsible for owning and managing the benefits and HRIS administration while also assisting with onboarding/offboarding and developing training and career development programs.

Essential Functions:

  • Solely manage all employee benefits administration and benefits programs.

  • Develop training and career development programs and other various HR communication plans.

  • Coordinate all training programs as well as safety, health, and wellness initiatives.

  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding employees, compliance, and audits.

  • Prepare HRIS Reports and HR metrics while maintaining the HRIS database with new hires, employee changes, and terminations, etc.

  • Review and reconcile payroll change reports and complex vendor invoices.

  • Manage and administer annual performance review process.

  • Develop and maintain affirmative action program; files EEO-1 & Vets 4212 annually.

  • Develop quarterly newsletters and maintain the online HR page.

  • Manage additional responsibilities as assigned.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or related field required; HR certifications are a plus.

  • 5 years’ of HR Administration experience including benefits and HRIS required; Experience developing training/career development programs is highly desired.

  • Experience supporting a public company with 300-600 employees.

  • Strong HRIS and technical knowledge is a must; Paylocity experience is a plus; ability to generate HRIS reports highly desired.

  • Strong business acumen and sense of professionalism with confidence interacting with individuals at all levels of an organization.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully build and maintain long lasting relationships.

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize competing tasks in a fast paced, demanding environment.

  • Strategic with the ability to bring new ideas to the table to create efficiencies and drive results.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, drive solutions, and effectively problem-solve.

  • Not easily overwhelmed with the ability to operate with a sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines.

  • Resourceful, proactive, and self-motivated with a team player mentality and positive attitude.

  • Strong attention to detail, level of accuracy, and organizational skills.
