Description
My client is one of the largest employers in the greater Baltimore area and I have placed many people here over the years. In this role you will be responsible for bank and balance sheet reconciliations, creating journal entries, assisting with financial reporting, process improvement and ad hoc projects. Requirements
Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
Sharp, analytical thinking abilities, always seeking to draw connections and identify the "why"
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Must have excellent time management skills
Detailed and have the ability work independently
2+ years of overall general accounting experience
Prior experience in a public accounting environment is highly valued
Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines
