Job Summary:

We are working with a local organization seeking a motivated and dynamic Insurance Sales Representative to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping clients secure their financial future through comprehensive insurance solutions. You will be responsible for identifying client needs, providing tailored insurance products, and building lasting relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Client Acquisition:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities by prospecting and networking.

  • Build and maintain a client base through referrals, cold calling, and community engagement.

  • Schedule appointments and meet with potential clients to discuss their insurance needs.

  • Product Knowledge and Consultation:

  • Educate clients on the different types of insurance products including life, health, auto, home, and business insurance.

  • Assess clients' current coverage and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.

  • Provide detailed explanations of policy features, benefits, and coverage options.

  • Customer Service and Relationship Management:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

  • Maintain regular contact with clients to ensure their satisfaction and to update their insurance needs as they change.

  • Foster strong relationships with clients to encourage renewals and referrals.

  • Administrative and Compliance:

  • Prepare and present accurate quotes and proposals to clients.

  • Complete and submit all necessary paperwork and applications in compliance with company and regulatory standards.

  • Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations, and changes in insurance products.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the insurance industry.

  • State insurance license (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
