Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Bilingual Call Center Specialist in Columbia, South Carolina, United States. This role plays a crucial part in our Non-Profit organization, where you will be responsible for answering phone calls, working through the process of applying for benefits, and providing exceptional customer service. You will be working in an in-office environment, ensuring seamless communication and efficient operations.

Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming calls and respond to customer queries in a timely and professional manner

• Utilize our internal system to assist people in applying for benefits

• Provide top-notch customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention

• Employ critical thinking skills to resolve complex issues and provide solutions

• Maintain attention to detail in all tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all operations

• Manage multiple lines of communication, ensuring smooth flow of information

• Collaborate with the contact center supervisor and team members to achieve shared goals

• Adhere to business casual attire and maintain a professional demeanor at all times

• Uphold the organization's standards and values in all interactions and tasks

• Contribute to a positive, supportive team environment, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.

Requirements

MUST BE FLUENT IN BOTH SPANISH AND ENGLISH!

• Candidate must possess experience in Call Center Customer Service

• Excellent Customer Service skills are mandatory for this role

• Proficiency in Answering Multi-Line Phone System is required

• Prior experience in a non-profit organization will be beneficial

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal are essential

• Ability to handle high call volumes and work in a fast-paced environment

• Must have problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer complaints effectively

• Must demonstrate empathy and the ability to understand and meet client needs

• Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask

• Proficiency in basic computer operations and software applications is required

• Must have the ability to work independently as well as in a team

• Knowledge of the non-profit industry and its operations would be an added advantage.
