Robert Half Bilingual Call Center Specialist in Columbia, South Carolina

Description

As a Bilingual Call Center Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our Spanish-speaking and English-speaking customers. You will handle inbound and outbound calls, addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information about our products and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service orientation, exceptional communication skills in both languages, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, providing assistance to customers in Spanish and English.

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding product information, pricing, availability, and order status.

  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and courteous manner, escalating complex problems to the appropriate department when necessary.

  • Process orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently.

  • Educate customers about company policies, procedures, and promotions.

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions using our CRM system.

  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure seamless customer service delivery.

  • Meet or exceed established performance metrics, including call quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction targets.

  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends to provide informed responses to customer inquiries.

  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including privacy and security guidelines, at all times.

    Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.

  • Previous experience in a customer service or call center role preferred.

  • Fluent in Spanish and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.

  • Strong active listening skills and the ability to empathize with customers’ concerns.

  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly on your feet.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

  • Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
