Description

We are searching for a skilled Customer Service Representative-CWB (Chubb Workplace Benefits) to join our team ONSITE in Columbia, South Carolina. As a part of our team, you will be servicing customers through inbound/outbound calls and emails in a fast-paced, high-volume contact center environment. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity in the insurance industry.

Responsibilities:

• Provide superior customer service through incoming telephone calls and emails

• Assume ownership and ensure timeliness in handling customer's requests efficiently and professionally

• Build rapport quickly and respond to customers in a compassionate manner by meeting and exceeding expectations

• Navigate multiple systems and applications to research, analyze, and resolve customer requests and inquiries

• Maintain performance and quality standards

• Analyze information to make appropriate decisions and solve problems while maintaining a positive phone experience

• Learn the basic concepts of personal lines insurance principles and the products offered to our customers

• Work collaboratively with team members and business partners to provide a positive customer experience

• Assist with special requests and complete additional tasks or other projects/duties as assigned.

Requirements • Proven experience in a customer service role

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other computer skills

• Knowledge of operations and research methods

• Experience with inbound and outbound calls

• Familiarity with insurance industry, particularly underwriting and claim administration

• Ability to work in a team and demonstrate strong collaboration skills

• Experience with "About Time", "Benefit Functions", and "Hiring Processes" software or systems

• Understanding of principles of revenue accounting and ability to perform ad hoc financial tasks

• Experience in dealing with property related issues and disability claims

• High quality standards and attention to detail

• Ability to work onsite

• Strong decision-making skills

• Knowledge of salary structures and experience working with business partners

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting tight deadlines.
