Description
We are seeking a Cost Accountant in Columbia, Tennessee. In this role, you'll be involved in a range of accounting functions, from processing accounts payable and receivable, to managing budget processes and cash activities. This exciting opportunity is 100% on-site, Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm and offers an opportunity for growth!
Responsibilities:
• Implement cost accounting systems and procedures.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Utilize accounting software systems and enterprise resource planning tools.
• Review and process customer credit applications.
• Maintain customer credit records and monitor account activities.
• Ensure accuracy and efficiency of accounting functions.
• Assist in budget processes and manage cash activities.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Use NetSuite for financial planning and operations management.
• Maintain accurate customer credit records.
Requirements
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems such as NetSuite and QuickBooks
• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Understanding and practical experience of Accounting Functions
• Expertise in handling Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience in Budget Processes
• Ability to manage Cash Activity
• Proficiency in Cost Accounting
• Expertise in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
