Robert Half HR Coordinator in Columbus, Indiana

Description

Robert Half is seeking a highly organized and motivated HR Coordinator to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our HR department by providing administrative and operational support across various HR functions, including providing dedicated support to the Leave & Accommodation Management Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Process new hire paperwork, including onboarding and benefits enrollment.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.

  • Assist with recruitment efforts, such as candidate screening and interview scheduling.

  • Provide administrative support to HR managers and staff.

  • Provide dedicated administrative support to the Leave & Accommodation Management Team, including:

  • Production and distribution of correspondence via fax, email, Workday (HRIS) and US Mail.

  • Assisting in production of reporting.

  • Maintaining supplies inventory.

  • Electronic file creation and maintenance.

  • Monitoring administrative department email accounts and fax lines.

  • Sorting and distributing incoming department mail.

  • Project assistance as needed.

  • Attending team meetings.

  • Respond to employee inquiries and resolve basic HR issues.

  • Coordinate employee relations activities, including performance reviews and terminations.

  • Manage HR calendars and schedule meetings and events.

  • Prepare reports and maintain HR documentation.

  • Stay up-to-date on HR policies and procedures.

    Requirements

  • Leave of Absence, Absence Management, Liaison, Employee Relations, FMLA, Administrative Assistance, Assure Compliance, Audit Reports, Manage Vendor Relationships

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an HR or administrative role.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Detail-oriented and highly accurate.

  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
