Robert Half Worker's Comp Advisor in COLUMBUS, Indiana

Description - Performing the phone interviews for employees who are requesting accommodations due to a work-related incident.

  • They work hand-in-hand with our Worker’s Comp partners to ensure that the employee’s needs, as well as the accommodation decisions, are communicated.

  • The advisors will be assigned to a number of Business units around the country, but will only handle the Worker’s Comp Interactive Process.

  • Position will be full time, Monday through Friday 8-5pm, with potential for remote work hybrid schedule following the training period

-Administrative duties related to leaves of absence and communications

-Create an optimal and positive leave experience

-Serve as the initial point of contact and liaison between employees and outsourced vendor partners at the beginning of a leave of absence

-Initiating the leave of absence through the approval process

-Interface with 3rd party administrators and vendors as needed

-Ensuring ADA/FMLA and company policy compliance

-Collaborate effectively in a team environment

-Display organizational skills and an eye for detail

-Excellent communication skills

-Assisting employees with LOA questions and concerns

-Ensure all requests for leave are responded to in a timely manner

-Maintaining system records for accurate and timely information and documentation
