Robert Half Accounts Payable Coordinator in Columbus, Ohio
Description We are in the market for an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our team in the bustling restaurant and catering industry in Columbus, Ohio. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. As an Accounts Payable Coordinator, you will be expected to manage a range of duties related to account reconciliation, invoice processing, and data entry.
Responsibilities
• Handle accounts payable duties, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all transactions.
• Conduct account reconciliation tasks to maintain accurate financial records.
• Execute check runs regularly to ensure all bills are paid in a timely manner.
• Manage invoice coding to ensure proper categorization of expenses.
• Perform data entry tasks, inputting financial information into digital databases.
• Process invoices efficiently, verifying details and resolving discrepancies.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to create spreadsheets and track financial data.
• Operate software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for varied financial operations.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on account status.
• Maintain accurate customer credit records, updating information as necessary. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and maintaining vendor relationships
• Familiarity with Check Runs and ensuring timely payment of invoices
• Understanding of Coding Invoices and assigning appropriate account codes
• Proficiency in Data Entry, ensuring accurate and efficient recording of transactions
• Experience with Invoice Processing, verifying details and resolving discrepancies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting
• Familiarity with Oracle for managing financial data and transactions
• Experience with QuickBooks for managing accounting functions
• Knowledge of SAP for financial management and business processes.
