Robert Half Administrative Assistant in Columbus, Ohio

Description We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team in the restaurant and catering industry based in Columbus, Ohio. You will be part of a dynamic team and your role will involve acting as a liaison between various teams, facilitating discussions, and driving change. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate communication between multiple teams to improve restaurant opening processes.

• Handle customer service tasks such as answering inbound calls and email correspondence.

• Perform administrative duties such as data entry, scheduling appointments and maintaining records.

• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) for various tasks.

• Assist in project management within the restaurant/retail/construction industry.

• Understand and manage inter-related processes for new restaurant development and strategic initiatives.

• Assist in vendor management and purchasing procurement tasks.

• Utilize Business Information Tools (BI) and lifecycle systems for efficient execution.

• Actively drive change through collaboration and linkage of complex processes and related data.

• Cultivate influence through strong partnership skills and clear communication. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word

• Experience with answering inbound and outbound calls

• Strong customer service skills and ability to handle customer inquiries professionally

• Proven ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars effectively

• Knowledge and experience in data entry and email correspondence

• Experience in administrative assistance and vendor management

• Ability to handle purchasing procurement tasks efficiently

• Proven project management skills, preferably in commercial construction projects or commercial real estate

• Ability to manage tasks independently and prioritize work effectively

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Detail-oriented and organized, with a high level of accuracy in all tasks

• Proactive, with a strong desire to learn and grow in the role

• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high pressure environment

• Flexibility to adapt to changes and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Professional and positive attitude towards work and colleagues.
