Robert Half Attorney/Lawyer in Columbus, Ohio
Description We are in search of an experienced Attorney/Lawyer, with a focus on labor law and union relations, to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will be expected to utilize your skills and experience in labor law to effectively represent unions and engage in collective bargaining processes.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage all aspects of union grievances.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of union contracts and labor law in daily operations.
• Represent unions in dispute resolutions and collective bargaining processes.
• Utilize legal expertise to advise and guide union representatives on legal matters.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
• Develop and implement effective legal strategies for union representation.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure the best outcomes for our clients.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes and developments in labor law.
• Use strong communication skills to clearly convey complex legal information to clients.
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethical behavior in all client interactions. Requirements • Possess a professional degree in law (JD) from an accredited law school
• Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with the state bar
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience as an attorney or lawyer
• Demonstrated experience in handling Union Grievances and Union Contracts
• Proficient knowledge of Labor Law
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• High level of professional ethics and integrity
• Strong negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
