Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity in Columbus, Ohio, for an Applications Architect in the banking industry. The role involves the delivery and implementation of Cloud Identity and Access Management (IAM) technologies. The successful candidate will be expected to collaborate with various architects, oversee the implementation of Privileged Access Management solutions, establish IAM governance policies, and provide leadership to a team of IAM engineers. The workplace is dynamic and requires a professional who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with security and privacy standards in the design of Huntington’s Identity & Access Management Cloud services.

• Collaborate with IAM Architects, Cloud Architects, and Enterprise Architects to integrate IAM into the broader cloud and IT architecture.

• Design, implement, and evolve Cloud IAM solutions to meet organizational needs.

• Define and implement robust access control mechanisms for cloud resources, ensuring the principle of least privilege.

• Establish and enforce IAM governance policies to ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.

• Oversee the implementation and enhancement of Privileged Access Management solutions for critical cloud infrastructure.

• Establish and optimize processes for cloud identity provisioning, de-provisioning, and access recertification.

• Develop and maintain incident response plans specific to Cloud IAM, ensuring rapid and effective response to security incidents.

• Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to investigate and mitigate IAM-related security incidents.

• Assist with vendor relationships and any evaluation or recommendations related to new vendors and technologies.

• Provide leadership and guidance to a team of IAM engineers.

• Foster a culture of continuous learning, skill development, and collaboration within the Cloud IAM team. Requirements • Must possess strong communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders

• Proficient in generating comprehensive reports

• Expertise in Microsoft Excel is necessary

• Should be capable of developing and implementing policies

• Must be adept at planning processes

• Design skills are required, particularly in the context of application architecture

• Must demonstrate leadership skills in managing teams

• Knowledge of security protocols and standards is essential

• Experience in dealing with vendors is necessary

• Must have experience in the implementation of software applications

• Familiarity with industry best practices is required

• Optimization skills are necessary to improve system efficiency

• Proficiency in SQL is required

• Must be familiar with various methods used in application architecture

• Experience with cloud technologies, specifically Microsoft Azure, is necessary

• Must have experience in integrating various systems and software

• Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams is required

• Must be familiar with Agile methodologies

• Knowledge of law regulations and compliance functions related to the IT industry is necessary

• Must be able to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations

• A degree in Computer Sciences or a related field is necessary
