Robert Half HR Coordinator in Columbus, Ohio

Description

We are in search of an HR Coordinator to join our team based in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support, coordinating reference checks, verifying credentials, maintaining HRIS support, and assisting with various HR projects. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive administrative support, ensuring efficient operation of the HR department

• Oversee and coordinate reference checks for potential employees

• Verify the credentials of job candidates to ensure they meet the necessary qualifications

• Maintain and manage HRIS support, ensuring data is accurate and up-to-date

• Assist the Talent Acquisition group with various projects to support recruitment and hiring processes

• Perform data entry tasks, accurately inputting relevant information into the HR system

• Handle compliance-related tasks, ensuring all HR processes adhere to relevant laws and regulations

• Utilize various software and systems such as ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, MS Office Suite

• Conduct auditing tasks, reviewing HR processes and procedures for efficiency and effectiveness

• Coordinate background checks and benefit functions, ensuring a smooth hiring process

• Maintain clear and effective communication with all members of the HR team and other departments.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HR Coordinator or relevant human resources/administrative position.

• Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices.

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now.

• Experience with ATS and pulling candidate information.

• Strong ability in using Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Familiarity with conducting Background Checks.

• Understanding of compliance requirements, and vetting information.

• Strong communication skills in both written and verbal form.

• Ability to handle data with confidentiality.

• Good organizational and time management skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field; additional education in Human Resource Management will be a plus.
