Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Segment Risk Manager in Columbus, Ohio. The role is within the IT cyber and cloud business industry, where you will be tasked with risk support and control design implementation for our cloud offerings. The responsibilities will include ensuring our offerings align with defined governance processes, standards, and control requirements, while also helping to build compliant cloud governance programs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies related to Identity and Access Management (IAM) to align with the organization's overall security objectives and business goals.

• Define the IAM framework, policies, and standards based on industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

• Define, assess, and partner to implement access control policies, procedures, and guidelines to govern the provisioning and de-provisioning of user and non-user access rights.

• Ensure IAM practices comply with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.

• Conduct regular reviews and assessments of IAM controls, processes, and technologies to identify areas of improvement.

• Ensure appropriate control designs are sustainable and not susceptible to test or production failure.

• Partner and participate in Identity and Access Management-related audits, assessments, and findings.

• Ensure compliance with access control standards such as least privilege, role-based access control (RBAC), and segregation of duties (SOD).

• Act as a subject matter expert in IAM solutions, balancing the need for speed and flexibility of cloud and on-premises infrastructure while ensuring protection against ongoing and potential security threats.

• Support our transition to hybrid cloud computing platforms and contribute to the development of information security, cybersecurity, and IT risk management programs. Requirements • Demonstrated expertise in risk management, specifically within the financial services sector.

• Proficiency in procedures, policy design, auditing, and implementing strategies.

• Comprehensive understanding of security practices and compliance functions.

• Experience with Oracle, Microsoft Azure, and other cloud technologies.

• Proven ability to ensure compliance with best practices and regulatory frameworks.

• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, capable of liaising effectively with business partners.

• Background in computer sciences or a related field is preferred.

• Familiarity with cyber security principles and methods.

• Proficiency in governance and adept at working within established frameworks.
