Robert Half Systems Administrator in Columbus, Ohio

Description We are offering an opportunity for a Systems Administrator in Columbus, Ohio. The role involves managing key IT projects to enhance our organization's infrastructure, security, and operational efficiency. You will be a crucial part of our IT team, driving the successful completion of various projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the efforts to achieve PCI certification, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.

• Oversee the ongoing implementation of device management solutions to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.

• Manage the implementation of a password manager solution to enhance security measures and ensure the safe storage and management of sensitive credentials.

• Lead the migration of Windows servers to virtual servers in the cloud, ensuring a seamless transition with minimal disruption to operations.

• Coordinate with third-party help desk support providers to ensure timely resolution of IT issues.

• Oversee the deployment of routers, switches, and wireless access points within the specified timeframe.

• Manage the migration of servers to the cloud, leveraging best practices to ensure data integrity, accessibility, and security throughout the process. Requirements • Proficiency in managing and maintaining databases

• Familiarity with Dell Technologies and their application in a system environment

• Experience with EO/IR systems and their integration into existing systems

• Proficiency in Active Directory, including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting

• Experience with system deployments and ability to manage and monitor deployment processes

• Knowledge of Jamf Pro and its application in a system environment

• Familiarity with Cisco Technologies and Meraki, including their application and troubleshooting in a system environment

• Experience with JAMF Casper Suite and its implementation in a system environment

• Understanding of PCI and PCI Compliance, including its application in a system environment

• Experience with Cloud Technologies and their integration into existing systems

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot system issues

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex system issues in a clear and concise manner

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently when required
