Robert Half Systems Engineer in Columbus, Ohio
Description We are in search of a dedicated Systems Engineer to work in Columbus, Ohio. This role focuses on enhancing the efficiency of engineering processes within our organization by identifying and eliminating waste. The Systems Engineer will also be responsible for implementing performance measurements to detect inefficiencies and working with various teams to develop software automation.
Responsibilities
• Learn and understand engineering processes including order creation, design, approvals, and change orders.
• Analyze these processes to identify waste and redundancies.
• Develop and implement proposals for process improvements.
• Review and improve existing key performance indicators (KPIs) for the department.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 by reviewing and improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Train engineers on new processes or changes.
• Lead events to drive continuous improvement.
• Communicate technical issues and feedback between engineers and automation software developers.
• Use skills such as Cisco Technologies, Citrix Technologies, Database, Dell Technologies, EO/IR systems, AB Testing, Active Directory, Backup Technologies, Computer Hardware, and Configuration Management to perform duties. Requirements • Proficient in Cisco Technologies
• Experience with Citrix Technologies
• Database knowledge and management skills
• Familiarity with Dell Technologies
• Understanding of EO/IR systems
• Proven track record in AB Testing
• Experience with Active Directory
• Knowledge of Backup Technologies
• Ability to handle Computer Hardware
