As a Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will include financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Analyze financial information and report on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
When working with business partners, ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls. Additionally, be able to provide support on special requests
Participate in various department-wide initiatives
Produce monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management purposes
Aid in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Continuously analyze current automation of the accounting and reporting process and present improvement suggestions
Present Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Perform monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP Requirements
Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Great attention to detail
Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well
Exemplary analytical, quantitative and social skills
Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines
Must have excellent time management skills
Deep understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance
Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity
General ledger experience
