Description

We are looking for a tech-savvy Financial Analyst to join our team near Walnut Creek, California. In this role, you will be responsible for running budget-focused reports, conducting budget vs. actual reports and analysis, and carrying out capital project analysis. Your role will also involve advanced use of MS Excel for financial modeling and handling ad hoc projects.

Responsibilities:

• Run and analyze budget-focused reports

• Carry out budget vs. actual reports and analysis

• Conduct capital project analysis, focusing on return on investment

• Utilize advanced MS Excel skills including Macros, index matching, and SumIf for financial modeling

• Work on ad hoc projects as required

• Leverage software tools such as Workday and Strata for various tasks

• Monitor and manage budget processes

• Handle accounting functions and expense reporting

• Utilize skills in financial modeling and forecasting for budget management

• Monitor budget and make necessary adjustments.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Functions

• Experience with Budget Processes

• Knowledge of Expense Reporting

• Strong understanding of Finance principles

• Ability to use Excel Formulas effectively

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Workday ERP and Workday Financial Management software

• Skills in Financial Modeling

• Experience with Forecasting & Modeling techniques

• Ability to manage and monitor budgets

• Knowledge of Budgeting processes and methods

• Experience with Budget monitoring and adjustment.
