Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in Concord, California
Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Concord, California. In this role, you will be tasked with a variety of accounting and bookkeeping duties within our organization. You will primarily use Sage Software and Microsoft Excel, and will be responsible for managing double entries due to system integration issues.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage financial statements and balance sheet creation using integrated software.
• Use Sage Business Works as the primary accounting system.
• Handle double entries due to lack of integration with Sage.
• Prepare workers compensation reports, union reporting, and certified payroll using Microsoft Excel.
• Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations, and journal entries for four primary accounts.
• Manage accounts payable volume in a three-way match PO environment with a focus on job costing.
• Provide support for accounts receivable as needed.
• Conduct full month end close.
• Handle HR responsibilities including hiring and exiting employees, managing paperwork, facilitating trainings, and benefits administration.
Skills:
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Experience with Sage Software.
• Familiarity with Bookkeeping Functions and Full Charge Bookkeeping. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required
• Experience with Microsoft Excel is essential
• Knowledge of Accounting Functions is necessary
• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is crucial
• Proficiency in Sage Software is preferred
• Experience with Bookkeeping Functions is necessary
• Expertise in Full Charge Bookkeeping is desired
